Art in Bloom from the New Britain Museum of American Art
The New Britain Museum of American Art is the first museum in the country dedicated solely to American art. Founded in 1903, the NBMAA houses one of the most distinguished and comprehensive collections of over 5,000 paintings, sculptures, and works on paper in the country, spanning nearly 300 years of history. These include the Colonial period, the Hudson River School, genre painting, the American Impressionists, the Ash Can School, the early moderns and works by contemporary artists. This set of notecards features several of the Museum's best examples of floral paintings.
